About Us
Our Story
We were extremely blessed with a wonderful mother, or Mema, as she was known by her 6 grandchildren. In a way to honor her, we started Mema's Sugar Shack. Growing up we always loved being in the kitchen with our mother. During the holidays, we created delicious sweet treats to share with our family and friends. What a joy it was to spend that special time with her! Our goal is to deliver the same home baked goodies to you and your loved ones. Let us do the hard work while you enjoy the rewards.
Mema's Goodies
We offer Pecan and Almond Teacakes; Lemon, Almond. or Vanilla Pound Cake (optional glazes available), Iced Brownies, Pecan Clusters, and Chocolate Covered Peanut Butter Balls. Note that most of our goodies contain various nuts or nut flavored extracts. Prep time will be based on order size. Please give us as much advanced notice as possible to get your order ready.
Description of Our Goodies
Pecan or Almond Teacakes - A smooth buttery cookie with pecans or almonds double rolled in powdered sugar.
Lemon, Almond, or Vanilla Pound Cake - Moist dense bundt cake. Optional vanilla, lemon, or almond glaze.
Iced Brownies - A decadent soft brownie topped with fudgy frosting.
Chocolate Covered Peanut Butter Balls - Smooth peanut butter center with a solid rich semisweet chocolate shell.
Pecan Clusters- Crunchy butter toasted pecans covered with milk chocolate.
